Our Members

The last Youth Council Election took place in November 2021. All Youth Council Members (Ward, Nominated and MSYP) are elected for a 2 year term to run until November 2023. If someone leaves their position early, we will hold a by-election where new candidates will be voted in.

By-Elections

By-elections are elections that take place out-with the normal schedule due to a position becoming vacant. The by-elections are running from Monday 13th February - Saturday 18th February in the communities below. 

Any young person aged 12-25 who lives, works or studies in the ward area or constituency is able to vote by visiting their local polling station, e-mailing info@dgyouthcouncil.com or by messaging the Youth Council directly on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram @YouthCouncilDG
