Below is our free Youth Work programme which is running from April to June 2024:

 

Oasis Youth Centre (Newall Terrace, Dumfries, DG1 1LW):

Mondays:

Super MondaysYouth group for young people aged P7-25 with Additional Support Needs and Disabilities. There's fun activities, challenges + more. 6:30pm - 8:30pm

 

Tuesdays:

Young LeadersAre you looking for a new volunteer role? Maybe you aren't ready to volunteer a group but want to offer ideas for fundraising, activities etc. Come along to this group to share your ideas. 3:45pm - 5:45pm
Cooking GroupCome along to learn new skills in the kitchen! Open to 16 - 25yrs. 12:00 - 3:00pm
Arts GroupTake part and earn an expressive arts award.  Find your creative side doing activities like arts and crafts, photography, dance and much more! (12-17) 6:30pm - 8:30pm
DofEDuke of Edinburgh Open centre to help prepare you for your exhibitions! 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Fairshare VolunteersCome along to Oasis Youth Centre to volunteer with youth workers to organise our Fairshare donations, wash and sort donations and create well being packages for young people.11:00am - 3:00pm

Junior Drop InYouth group for young people in P6 and P7 only. There's fun activities, challenges + more. 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Your ResilienceYour Resilience is a eight week programme looking at ways to build resilience, confidence and self esteem, while looking at issues such as friendships, stress and decision making.4:00pm - 6:00pm
Digital Peer EducatorsResearch relevant topics, and learn creative media skills to co-produce informative youth information pieces to shared with other young people.  3:30pm - 5:30pm
